We are looking for a Senior Back\-end (Node.js) Developer/Architect with strong experience in healthcare software development, backend architecture design, and cloud platforms. The role combines hands\-on engineering with architectural decision\-making and participation in discovery and presales activities.
### **Must have**
* 6\+ years of experience in backend or full\-stack development
* Strong proficiency with Node.js and JavaScript / TypeScript
* Experience designing backend architectures and APIs
* Hands\-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
* Experience developing Healthtech software
* Understanding of sensitive data handling practices (PII / PHI)
* Familiarity with FHIR or HL7 healthcare interoperability standards
* Experience integrating with EHR / EMR systems
* English proficiency — Upper\-Intermediate or higher
### **Will be a plus**
* Experience working with healthcare platforms such as Medplum
* Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform or similar)
* Experience integrating AI services or ML\-based solutions
* Experience with serverless and event\-driven architectures
* Previous team leadership or technical mentorship experience
